Description
A handmade crochet vandanvar for the main door, worked strand by strand in deep maroon, bright pink and white blooms that hang from a green vine of crocheted pom-poms. Two longer vines fall down either side of the frame, so the doorway is dressed from top to bottom.
Crocheted by hand from soft acrylic baby wool. Unlike a fresh flower toran it will not wilt or drop petals, so it goes up for Diwali, a wedding or a housewarming and packs away for the next one.

What is it made of?
Soft acrylic baby wool, crocheted by hand. The flowers, the pom-poms and the cord are all worked in the same yarn.
Will it wilt like fresh flowers?
No. It is crocheted yarn rather than fresh flowers, so it can be packed away and brought out again for the next festival.
Where can I hang it?
Main doors, pooja room doorways, balcony rails and as a wall backdrop. Keep it somewhere covered, as it is wool rather than an outdoor material.
How do I clean it?
Dust it with a dry cloth or a soft brush. If it needs more, spot clean with a barely damp cloth and let it dry flat.
